Vodafone have confirmed a failure of an international link (used to transmit data between countries) but is rerouting traffic to address the issue. A further statement has been released by a Vodafone spokesperson:
“Our engineers are working hard to fix the issue and services are now being restored.”
“This could take some time before they are working as normal. We are sorry for any inconvenience caused.”
Vodafone are currently experiencing a major global outage, causing issues across their mobile and data network. Vodafone engineers are continuing to investigate the issue and will provide an update at the earliest opportunity.
We are receiving reports of customers experiencing issues with the Vodafone data network. We are currently liaising with Vodafone technical support to determine the scope of the issue, and will provide further updates shortly.
