With this in mind, iData intends to build on their growing reputation as a leading communications company in North Wales and the North West and eventually UK wide.
A converted garage in Ewloe seems an unlikely base for a hi-tech business to start, but it laid the foundations for a fast-growing, successful business. iData are now the proud owners of refurbished offices on Deeside with room for further expansion.
i DATA Com Limited was founded by three people who know the telecommunications industry inside out and who have a genuine passion for providing their clients with solutions that maximise efficiency and minimise costs. A gap was identified in the marketplace for a company that could encompass the whole range of communications technology under one umbrella.
Starting a new business just as the recession was beginning to take its toll might not sound like a good idea, but a tough trading climate has brought benefits for i DATA: as businesses look at ways to reduce costs and improve performance of their telecommunications has proved to be a good starting point.
Our aim is to become established as the company that identifies the telecommunication and data accessibility requirements of each company individually and provide solutions for maximum efficiency and minimum costs.
With the main aim of the business being the provision of complete communications packages for businesses with maximum benefit and at minimum cost, iData is fast becoming established as the company that can help other companies to save money which can be channeled into other areas to help them realize their own potential.
We have found people paying rental on lines that they never use, and we have found businesses that have advanced systems in place, but they are just not using them to their full potential. Simply changing to new suppliers can save a company a substantial amount on the cost of telephone calls, Line rentals & communications in general.
iData employs 11 people locally , comprising three directors, Sales Representatives and a dedicated team of Sales Support Staff. Our intention is to ensure our customers have access to expert advice and support, with personal attention, not a faceless call centre.
We also intend to develop our website to make it more accessible to Welsh speaking customers – we are exploring the options regarding translation in to Welsh and will in due course ensure that at least one of our employees is Welsh-speaking to deal with customers who are happier conversing in Welsh. Other employees will be encouraged to learn!
