Claire House Hospice
Claire House is a 10-bed hospice for children and young people with life limiting, life threatening conditions from across Merseyside, Cheshire, North Wales and the Isle of Man. In addition to caring for babies, children and young adults, Claire House also provides bereavement and other support for the whole family.
iData generously donated £2000 for Claire House which will fund an oxygen concentrator machine for one year. Abi Smith area fundraiser at Claire House said “It means a huge amount to us to receive support from local businesses such as this from iData, without the oxygen concentrator machine we simply wouldn’t be able to help ventilated children”.
On Friday 25th May 2012, Mark and some friends were riding their mountain bikes in the Lake District. Mark’s bike hit something in the road. In that moment his life may have changed but Mark didn’t. iData donated an ipad for the fundraising event in October and raised £840 which will help towards a custom wheelchair which Mark needs.
iData sponser the Cheshire Jets Basket Ball team, based in Chester. Established in 1984 Cheshire Jets are a well know name in the basketball league, and have a strong junior following working with the local community.
